Horace Mann School's "Journey to Success" begins . . .!
by Principal Dana Findley
To start our students off on their "journey to success," we will be partnering with Harper for Kids (HFK), a children's non-profit organization founded by Peanut Louie Harper and Tim Harper. We will be incorporating into our character education program HFK's Youth Character Development Program, which is based upon legendary UCLA Coach John Wooden's Pyramid of Success. HFK introduces Coach Wooden's Pyramid of Success life skills through his children's book, Inch and Miles: The Journey to Success, which Peanut collaborated on.

Annual PTA Membership Drive When you participate in the Horace Mann PTA, you and your family benefit tremendously. Nearly 100 studies over the past three decades have proven repeatedly that parent involvement improves students' grades and scores. When you donate to the PTA, you are supporting a wide range of programs. With local private school tuition ranging from $10,000 to $40,000 per year, we ask you to remember that, while a public education is free, a great education costs money. Each of our children deserves a world-class education. Please contribute the maximum amount that your family can afford. Our goal is $500 per student,
which equates to about $3 per day of the school year. Click here to donate online today.
