The library is hosting a blood drive and we invite you to join us and give the gift of Life! Although we encourage you to sign up for a 15 minute reserved spot, drop-ins are also welcomed. To schedule an appointment go to www.redcrossblood.org and type in sponsor code "chelsealibrary".

Friends Used Book & Computer Sale

Don't miss this special sale! In addition to the thousands of beautiful books, CDs, DVDs, audio books and other items available for purchase, there will also be used Dell Desktop computers for sale! Proceeds from the sales are used to support the Library.

Purple Rose Concert Reading

Join us for scene readings by Purple Rose Theatre Company actor apprentices, then stay after the performance and share your feedback with the performers and Guy Sanville, PRTC Artistic Director.

Geocaching in the Big 400

Discover a fun way to motivate the entire family to get outdoors. Learn to navigate trails using a GPS device finding hidden caches and treasure! Bring a few cheap, small trinkets to replace what you take from the cache. Use the Discovery Center GPS units or bring your smartphone with a downloaded geocaching app.

Job Seekers Lab

Mondays, Aug. 11 & 25 | 10am-12pm

Drop-in | Learning Lab

The Learning Lab will be reserved for job seekers, whether you are looking for a quiet place to work on leads, or if you are in search of assistance starting a job search, applying for jobs online, or polishing resumes and cover letters. Staff and experienced volunteers will be on hand to demonstrate tools, assist with tech support and provide support.
