Comedy Showcase Begins June 5th

As part of Sounds and Sights, the library will feature live, standup comedy on the lawn. Comedians from the Ann Arbor Comedy Showcase will perform each Thursday in June from 6:30-8. Join us for a family-friendly evening of laughs. In partnership with Ann Arbor Comedy Showcase.

It's a Summer of Science at the Library!

Library Lawn | Drop-in | All Ages

It's Mad, Mad Science at the Kickoff! Visit the Grossology Station! Build earthquake-proof towers, and test them! Enjoy games, crafts, a bounce house, giant volleyball, karaoke, and snow cones on the library lawn.

 

Frozen Movie Sing Along

When a prophecy traps a kingdom in eternal winter, Anna, a fearless optimist, teams up with extreme mountain man Kristoff and his sidekick reindeer Sven on an epic journey to find Anna's sister Elsa, the Snow Queen, and put an end to her icy spell. Watch the movie and sing along to the songs!

MAP (Michigan Activity Pass)
Explore  over 100 cultural venues throughout the state of Michigan with the Michigan Activity Pass (MAP).  Explore museums, lighthouses, cultural centers, theaters and much more, all for reduced or free admission.  There is something for everyone, young and old! For more information click here.

Drop in for Toddlertime, our storytime that emphasizes certain early literacy skills for your child. We will lay the foundation for reading through letter knowledge (with our Letter People Puppets!) and vocabulary building (great new books to read together!). Activities such as group songs, interactive felt board stories, and our "group troop" action rhymes, will entertain and educate. Our age-specific toys, which come out the last 10 minutes, will encourage socialization.  
Note: Caregiver must remain in the room during the program.
