Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Beatles' takeover of American airwaves with this multimedia and live music-filled event featuring award-winning Michigan poet ML Liebler, Eddie Baranek of The Sights, Grammy-winner Steve King and Charlie Palazzola of Coyote Monk. A must for all Beatles fans!

Are you a tech newbie, can't figure out your new smartphone, or just want to ask your computer question to a real person? Let our computer volunteers provide you with the necessary skills and knowledge to use your computer and digital devices effectively. This program is aimed at educating users rather than computer repair.


Please register in advance through our online event calendar, calling or by visiting the library. Registration is very important so that our volunteers can prepare for your questions.

Join us for a reading of the play The Last Romance by Joe DiPietro, performed by Purple Rose actors.

Here's a description of the play: A crush can make anyone feel young again - even a widower named Ralph. On an ordinary day in a routine life, Ralph decides to take a different path on his daily walk - one that leads him to an unexpected second chance at love.

Big 400

Hiking in the Big 400

Waterloo-Pinckney Trail

Celebrate National Trails Day in the Big 400! Join us for a walk on the famous Waterloo-

Pinckney Trail which connects two State Recreation Areas and a Washtenaw County Park (approx 2.5miles). Have friends or family drop off a vehicle at Park Lyndon North and carpool to Waterloo Recreation Area's Green Lake Campground Trail to begin the journey. Walking east with Park Naturalists; we will finish our hike at Park Lyndon North.
