In the evening, meet and greet all the authors at this special event in the library: hear a brief presentation from each author, ask questions, and then get your book signed.

Welcome to our
new Library Aide
Mary Tobin!

My grandfather always said that everything comes around full circle.  I grew up on a farm in southern Monroe County and couldn't wait to move away from the rural area. In 2003, after living several years in Ann Arbor, my kids and I moved to the Chelsea/Dexter area and I am once again surrounded by corn, soybeans, cattle and sheep.

I volunteer at the Chelsea Community Fair, work as the administrator/treasurer for a local church, sit on the Lima Township Board of Review, and recently became a first-time grandma!

I have always loved reading.  When I was a child,  going to the library was a big deal.  Now I have an opportunity to enjoy the library as an adult, both as a user and an employee.

We invite you to join Sue Whitmarsh, a registered yoga instructor, to learn firsthand the positive and profound effects yoga can have on your life. Sessions will feature soothing meditation, a 45-minute Slow Flow yoga practice of standing, balancing and seated postures and a discussion of how to carry the compassion generated through our practice into our lives. We'll be referencing the book The Power of Kindness by Piero Ferucci and have copies available to share. Bring along a yoga mat if you have one.

Please register separately for each date you plan to attend. We hope to see you at all six classes, or as many as fit your schedule.
