Join us for a play reading by Purple Rose Theatre Company actors and share your feedback with the performers and Guy Sanville, PRTC Artistic Director. They will be reading material from "The Purple Rose Spring Comedy Festival: Lovers, Liars and Lunatics." This collection of new short new plays explores "the romance, the rancor and the ridiculous nature of modern relationships."

This workshop will demonstrate online resources to help users in their job search. We'll explore ReferenceUSA's Job search module, Pure Michigan Talent Connect, MI Works Job Fit, and CareerBuilder, along with others. Users will also receive tips on creating resumes using templates and uploading documents as part of job applications.

Australian Didge-ucation comes to the library! Drop in to see an exploration of Australian Aboriginal Art, Music and Culture. World renowned Didgeridoo/harmonica performer and singer/composer Peter Harper and Australian singer and music educator Bobbi Llewellyn will describe, through narration, music and an interactive slide show the daily lives of the first Australians. See and hear a real Didgeridoo! Don't miss this creative experience that will open your mind to a part of the world that very few have seen!

The 3.5-hour ACT Practice Test helps students decide which test is right for them. This is a perfect opportunity to experience the ACT and prepare for testing in March. Please bring a simple calculator and a snack to eat/drink during the short breaks in testing.

In the review program on February 9th, students receive feedback on how to maximize their scores in March.

Downloading eBooks to your eReader, Tablet or Smartphone

The library offers ebooks and audiobooks for download to your eReader, tablet, or smartphone. We'll demonstrate how to access, search and download titles through Download Destination, our ebook site. We'll discuss using an app for searching and downloads, setting up an Adobe ID for access, and how to downloading your chosen titles to your device. We will also review the library's Download Destination Help resources. Please register for this exciting workshop and leave a question if you have one.
