The library is hosting a blood drive in the McKune Room at the Chelsea District Library. You are encouraged to sign up for a 15 minute reserved spot, or just drop in.

Percussion is more than just drums! Drop in to McKune to hear the Chelsea High School Percussion Ensembles fill the room with the sounds of bells, xylophone, timpani, marimba and more! Students will perform the same classical ensemble pieces that they will compete with in the MSBOA Solo & Ensemble Festival. All ages welcome.

The world can be a brutal place- eat or be eaten. In order to deal with this constant dilemma hunters and the hunted have evolved different strategies to give themselves a fighting chance. Join us on a 3 workshop journey through time as we explore the strategies that predators and prey have used to try to keep a leg up on the competition.

January 11, Workshop 1: Dining on Dinos: Long necks, sharp teeth, club tails, killer claws
The world in the time of the dinosaurs was a brutal place. We will explore what fossils can tell us about the lives and coping strategies of predators and prey animals.
