Fill a Bag for $5 Book Sale
The Friends of Chelsea District Library are having another Fill a Bag for $5 book sale. Thousands of books, CDs, DVDs, and audio books are available for purchase. Proceeds from the sales are used to support the Library. Bags will be provided at the book sale, courtesy of Polly's Country Market.

SculptureWalk Guided Tour | Meet in the Library's lobby for a docent-guided tour of the SculptureWalk art installations downtown. We'll walk you through all of the stops on the Chelsea SculptureWalk, sharing artists' insights.

LEGOŽ Club | Kids enjoy one hour of free play with our extensive LEGOŽ collection. Creations go on display in the Youth Department.
Babytime | Introduce your baby or toddler to the wonderful world of books. We'll be singing songs, doing bouncy rhymes, learning some "baby signing", and reading along to fun board books.
Confessions of a Plant-Crazed Garden Nerd | Joseph Tychonievich, nursery manager at Arrowhead Alpines in Lansing and author of Plant Breeding for the Home Gardener, will share the joys and travails of being obsessed with plants.

Fall Storytime (2-6 year olds) | Our youth librarians will introduce your child to the wonderful world of books by reading great stories, singing funny songs, and making each story come alive through puppets, fingerplays and movement.

ReferenceUSA Search Essentials | This free webinar is offered by ReferenceUSA, an online business resource Chelsea District Library card holders can access. This hour-long webinar will cover all the basics of getting started with ReferenceUSA.

 The Library is hiring a part time Library Aide to work 6-15 hours per week; days, evenings, and weekends.
