Smarty Pants Trivia Smack DownHow does your knowledge of random trivia compare to your friends' and neighbors'? Round up a team of up to six people and join the Chelsea District Library at the Chelsea Alehouse to test your trivia chops. After five rounds of trivia, the top two teams win prizes (and bragging rights). Free to participate-- bring your library card to get bonus points!

BabytimeIntroduce your baby or toddler to the wonderful world of books. We'll be singing songs, doing bouncy rhymes, learning some "baby signing", and reading along to fun board books.

Wild Wednesdays: ROBOTS Learn all about robots with Chelsea High School's F.I.R.S.T. Robotics Team. Watch a demonstration of the team's latest robots and interact with smaller mobile robot models. Chelsea Robotics is a High School club for teens interested in science, technology and robotics. 

Paddle Now. Chores Later.PBS-featured Michigan author Doc Fletcher will lead a virtual canoe trip down the Pere Marquette and the Two Hearted River through his stories and photographs. You don't have to be a canoeing or kayaking enthusiast to enjoy the program, but you may become one by the time the evening ends!

Friends Book Sale graphicThousands of beautiful books, CDs, DVDs, audio books, and more available for purchase. Proceeds from the sales are used to support the Library. Stop by the Friendly Book Shelves, always available in the lobby, for a great selection of "like-new" books at bargain prices.

The Chelsea District Library is nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide equal access to quality resources that serve the lifelong cultural, educational, and informational needs and interests of all people.The library currently serves 14,000 residents in the Chelsea district - City of Chelsea plus Dexter, Lima, Lyndon and Sylvan townships and more than 20,000 individuals visit the library each month.  The library's state-of-the-art facility is an access point for information.
