SAT or ACT? Free Kaplan Practice Test Helps College-Bound Students Decide
Both the ACT and the SAT are nationally administered standardized tests that help colleges evaluate candidates. All schools accept either test interchangably. As you begin to think about college and creating the best application package possible, your admissions plan should begin with the question, "Which test should I take?"
This 3.5 hour Combo Practice Test helps students decide which test is right for them. Students will receive feedback comparing their performance on each of the test sections of the two exams. Bring a calculator, several sharpened #2 pencils with an eraser, and a snack to eat during the short breaks. Saturday, April 20 | 10:30am-2:30pm 500 Washington Street | Building 100 | Room 100 N. Registration Required | For High School Students Find out how you scored on the Combo Practice Test and learn how to improve your results. Saturday, April 27 | 1-4pm McKune Room | Drop-in For Combo Practice Test Participants

This year marks the literary walk's fifth anniversary and will kick off with a reading by famed crime writer, Elmore Leonard, at the Purple Rose Theatre. Other writers include Purple Rose Theatre Company playwright Michael Brian Ogden, award-winning poet and novelist, Jack Driscoll, and perennial favorite and Midwest Literary Walk co-founder, ML Liebler, and more. Click here for a complete schedule of the event.
The Midwest Literary Walk is a literary event aimed at highlighting the power of literature and poetry in everyday life. Readings take place at a range of venues downtown. The readings are intimate, giving attendees a chance to interact with the authors or get a book signed. The Community Open Mic is an opportunity for the audience to showcase their own literary talents.
