Please SAVE THE DATE
On April 23rd, some Philly folks will be working with farmers from Cuba and the Americas Media Initiative to screen the Cuban documentary, Tierralismo, about the renowned Organoponico Vivero Alamar (Alamar Organic Cooperative) based outside Havana, at the Rotunda (40th and Walnut).
The filmmaker, Alejandro Ramírez and one of the founders of the Organoponico, Isis Salcines will be coming to Philly with the film. Isis is especially interested in touring urban farms and having conversations with farmers.
Can you please email me at schwab.kristin@gmail.com if you are interested in meeting her and sharing your farm with her between April 22nd and 24th?
Once I receive interest, I will reach back out to schedule.
