Deputy Warden Robert Martin from the Connecticut Department of Correction will speak about the transition prison program and answer questions. In addition to Nora Raleigh Baskin and Deputy Warden Martin, there will be a panel discussion with children of incarcerated women and men. Two short films will be shown, with time for discussion. Caring for God's Creation
Where Have We Been? Where Are We Going? An Emerging Environment Network
Bishop Laura Ahrens, the Revs. Sandra Stayner, Stephanie Johnson and Virginia Army, and Professor Letty Naigles invite all who are interested to this important event on environmental ministry:
"Come celebrate and explore our call to care for 'this fragile earth, our island home.' We are called to be stewards and protectors of God's creation. This evening will be an opportunity to share our passion and energy about what we are doing locally that is making a difference in our communities and changing peoples' hearts and minds about climate change and environmental justice. We want to dream big and see what resources, ideas, connections and commitment we have among us to undertake an environmental ministry network initiative over the next 12-18 months. Let's imagine what the Holy Spirit, the power of many dedicated parishes and people in the Episcopal Church in Connecticut, and a broad and concerted plan of work and witness can accomplish in caring for God's creation."

Camp Washington Announces "Second Sunday"
Beginning on Sunday, March 13th and continuing on the second Sunday of each month, Camp Washington will host a time of learning, reflection and community. Participants will gather at Camp Washington at 4:30 p.m. for a program designed and led by guest clergy.
Each month, guest clergy will offer a short spiritual program and discussion, followed by worship, and end with a simple meal in the dining hall. The program and dinner will conclude by 6:30 p.m. The program design is intentionally simple. Camp Washington hopes to provide an opportunity for community and fellowship as people experience God through thought, prayer, and worship in the natural beauty of Camp Washington.
The Rev. Curtis Farr from St. James, West Hartford will lead the March 13 program and worship. Please RSVP by calling 860-567-9623 so that they have an accurate count for dinner. There is no charge to attend, they we will receive any free will offerings and decide as a community how to use those funds going forward.
