Important Note from the ECCT Finance Team

Due to an error in setting up invoices, dental and life insurance charges are not listed correctly in the Extended Price column. This issue has now been fixed for March invoices and going forward. Please add any Life Insurance and Dental charges that should have been listed in the Extended Price column to your total amount due when submitting January and February payments.

If you have already submitted your payment and paid the listed amount due without including Dental and Life Insurance premiums, please note that you will see a charge for those coverages on your next bill.

The ECCT finance team apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this error.

Please call Matt Handi at 203-639-3501, x107 or email him at mhandi@episcopalct.org if you have any questions.

Are you involved in interfaith/inter-religious ministries?
Would you like to be?

ECCT's inter-religious network facilitator and an ECCT ecumenical leader are seeking to connect ECCT members with an interest in interfaith/inter-religious and ecumenical partnerships. Please follow this link to complete this very brief survey on interfaith/inter-religious activity. We know surveys may not be your favorite thing - there are only three questions! Please help us know who you are.

Likewise for ecumenical partnerships: A similar, and equally brief, survey link can be found here.

Feel free to forward these links. Those responding will be contacted directly for exploring next steps. Interfaith/inter-religious participants will hear from the Rev. Dr. Lisa D. Hahneman, ECCT Interreligious Network Facilitator. Ecumenical participants will hear from the Rev. Dr. Geoffrey Hahneman, Bridgeport Council of Churches Board Member.

Mission Trip to Dominican Republic

Several parishes within the Episcopal Church in Connecticut have special relationships with worshipping communities in the Caribbean, including the Dominican Republic.

This July, a group from the Episcopal Church in Connecticut will participate in a mission trip to the Dominican Republic.  They will assist a Vacation Bible School at Santa Margarita, a church in an underserved neighborhood in Santo Domingo. Additionally, participants will do sightseeing and worship at the host site church, and visit the Cathedral.

The group is currently seeking additional youth participants who are currently enrolled in high school and between the ages of 14-18 as well as adult chaperones. The cost to the youth is approximately $1250 plus any spending money they wish to bring. While in the DR, all expenses are covered.

July 16 - 24, 2016
