Vessel Safety Check
February 15th and 16th
The Vessel Safety Check program will be run again this year at Windmill Harbour, and it will be the weekend of February 15th and 16th. We have run a similar program in each of the last three years, and it has been been very popular. This is an easy way for you to get the new 2014 year US Coast Guard/Power Squadron safety decal for your boat. The inspection is totally free, and we will set up a schedule so that you can get it done which will take a minimum of your time. To sign up for an inspection for your boat, just do the following:Send an e-mail to "[email protected]" with the following information: Your name Your boat's name Your boat's slip number The time you would like the inspection to occur (Saturday AM or PM, or Sunday AM or PM. Within the "AM" or "PM", you may want to specify "early" or "late").After you sign up you will get information regarding the content of the inspection.Don't forget that the boat owner or an operator must be present during the inspection.K. Boat Show 2014
A lot of you have probably noticed several of the beautiful Chris Craft boats in the harbour. I'm sure you'll agree that these boats are definitely an elegant addition to the harbour.
Craig Freeman of Barrier Island Marine, the title sponsor of the 2014 Boat Show in Windmill Harbour, has sold a couple of these beauties to slip renters and owners in the last couple of months. We welcome Craig's enthusiasm and look forward to the boat show!
