Greetings,

We have a lot to look forward to this fall as we move away from hurricane and mosquito season and into crisp, cool days. Please let us know if there's anything we can do for you!
B and C dock construction

Construction is almost completed on the docks. Cape Romain Contractors have been finishing up, while plumbers and electricians are preparing to come back and hook up the utilities. We hope to have the docks back open in a matter of weeks. The marina staff will be contacting all boat owners when the time comes to re open the docks.

 Marketing Update

We are working hard on marketing your marina as the best marina on the East Coast. We have decided to initiate a Marketing Campaign that has begun and will continue through next year. The primary objective of this campaign is to rent available slips, and, secondarily, to promote the sale of slips.

We have taken the first step in this campaign  by advertising with both the Waterway Guide and MapTech (the 2014 Edition), two very well-known  cruising guides. Please take a look at our advertisement in the Waterway Guide (Marina Close-Ups) and our new video promoting the Marina by clicking on the link below!

Our marketing campaign will target local boaters, boaters from the Charlotte and Atlanta areas, and eventually the Baltimore/Annapolis/Philadelphia areas (as an alternative to winter storage). To begin the local marketing we are tentatively planning an "open house" event in the marina on Saturday and Sunday, the 2nd & 3rd of November. We intend to announce our special slip rental deals to provide an incentive for potential slip renters. Advertising will be done through the Island Packet and through email and web site campaigns.

Our current intentions are to repeat these events periodically depending upon the success of the program. Early next year we will be planning our campaigns for Atlanta and Charlotte and beyond.
