Libraries are good for you - February 2016  
Did you know? A recent study found that being a regular library user is associated with a better chance of being in good health?

This February and March sees the return of events and free gifts to help you get more involved with your health and wellbeing. Plus join with Harry Potter Book Night and National Libraries Day celebrations.

  Healthy Happy Active in February and March 2016 - free gifts and fun events on offer
During February and March visit the library and earn gifts by borrowing items, helping a friend join the library and attending events at all our libraries.

The first free gift is a FREE day pass to either Langley or Montem Leisure

There are a range of events including "Move and Shake" sessions for under 5s, coffee and chat with Alzheimer's society, walks and the bike doctor.

Magical goings on for Harry Potter Book Night

Harry Potter Book Night is coming to Slough Library on Thursday 4th February at 3.30pm.

Join in with fun activities including a costume competition.

You can also get involved early by getting your photo taken in our photobooth or voting for your favourite magical criminals on Slough Libraries' Facebook!

National Libraries Day Saturday 6 February
Share what you love about Slough library and your favourite memories of visiting the library through the years on Saturday 6th February.

Plus drop in for a special craft session for children after music time at 11.30am.
