The New Year is now upon us, and we have plenty of exciting events and activities to help you kick-start your 2016! Find out more on the library news and events page.
Holocaust Memorial Day at Slough Libraries
On 27 January we remember victims and survivors of the Holocaust and subsequent genocides, and learn lessons from the past in order to create a safer, better, future.
In all Slough libraries from 25-30 January, you will be able to sign and submit a copy of the "Anne Frank Declaration," in order to pledge to speak out against prejudice and hatred. At the end of the week we will count the number of declarations we've received, so come down and sign a copy at your local library.
Healthy, Happy, Active Promotion 2016
Slough Libraries will be running a promotion over February and March 2016 to encourage healthy, happy, active lifestyles.
During the promotion, there will be prizes to collect, and events with local
partners to look out for.
The first free gift is a FREE day pass to either Langley or Montem Leisure Centres - sign up from February 1st and take out 6 books at any Slough library to get yours!
