December is nearly here! We have lots of Christmas and holiday events for all the family coming to a library near you. Find out more on the library news and events page
Meet the Bookstart Bear at your local library


The Bookstart Bear is coming back to Slough, Langley, Cippenham and Britwell Libraries to wish you an early Merry Christmas.

  

Events start on Monday 30 November at Cippenham Library at 11am. There will be a Christmas themed music time, carols from Cippenham Primary School as well as free gifts for the children.

  

You can also keep an eye out for the bear in supermarkets around town on Saturday 28 November. (full details of all events on library news and events page)
Buy tickets for A Christmas Carol with Booster Cushion Theatre

Back by popular demand - Booster Cushion 
Theatre returns to Slough and Cippenham Libraries with a special performance of A Christmas Carol on Tuesday 22 December .
Tickets are on sale now at Cippenham and Slough Libraries. Tickets cost £5 for adults and £3 for children. Get yours quickly as they will sell out fast!

  • Cippenham Library 2.30-3.30pm  
Christmas holiday events

Visit your local library for fun, festive, activities. Kick off the holiday with Curve Creates special visual art drop-in session for ages 11+ on Friday 18 December 4-6pm at Slough Library.

Plus look out for stories and festive crafts at a range of libraries. The first session will take place at Cippenham Library Monday 21 December 2-3pm. Details available on library news and events page
