Libraries are good for babies too - November 2015

This November, bring your babies and toddlers to Slough libraries for a range of events . Did you know when you borrow children's books on a child's library card they are no late fees? Plus, catch up with the latest news from the library service.
Collect your Bookstart  baby pack from Slough Libraries

If you have not received your Bookstart baby pack (in the purple bag) from your health visitor or other health professional, come along to one of our libraries and we will gift a pack to you. This will help you in your baby's first year to share stories, rhymes and songs.

Join the Dr Seuss Reading Challenge for 0-4 year olds when you attend one of our music or story times.

Give your baby a head start and introduce them to Slough Libraries!

Borrow books for your baby and take part in the Dr Seuss challenge to collect stickers!

Ask at your local library after your next story, music or craft session.

We have a wide selection of picture and board books in English as well as in a variety of different languages.

Childminder sessions
Did you know that child-minders are entitled to a special library card?  This free card means you will not receive any fines if you return the books late.  You can borrow books for babies, children, teenagers and adults with your childminder card.

If you would like to connect with other local childminders why not pop along to a special childminder only session.
  • Cippenham Library every Tuesday 9.50-11am
  • Langley Library every Wednesday 10 -10.45am
We are also looking to set up childminder groups in Slough and Britwell. Please get in touch if you would be interested in supporting groups in these libraries.
