Join fellow Rotarians and friends on Thursday, February 4, as the Rotary Club hosts its weekly luncheon with special guest speaker Monty Trainor, President of the Coconut Grove Arts Festival. The cost for the luncheon is $20 and they meet at 12:15 p.m.

Coconut Grove Chamber of Commerce Lunch with Monty

Fashion + Art + Music Night

Date: Saturday, February 6
Time: 6:00 p.m.
Location: Various
Inside CocoWalk, you will hear the voice of Colombian jazz singer, Jimmy Paredez, alongside various artists and jewelry designers including David Lavernia and Sassha Gomez. Many fashion boutiques will hold sample sales, including Pineda Covalin. On Main Highway, Kit and Ace will host an Indie-Soul band called Bluejay, while Hair by Hisham will have live music by Peanut, Butter & Jell. Next door, Vino's in the Grove, will host local artist Cory Hunter as he will be painting with electricity. More live music by Campo Deluxe Band will be in front of Masa Taqueria on McFarlane Road and Three Sheets to the Wind across from Lulu in the Grove on Main Highway. In addition to all the live music, you can get a free henna tattoo by the Henna Mystic in front of Allie and Chica or see live poetry writing by The Biscayne Poet in front of H&H Jewels.For more information: click HERE

Frameworks Grand Opening Party

Welcome back Frameworks to the neighborhood while enjoying art by Madeliene Abling, John Dowd, Eliot Hess, Lisa Remeny, Matt Stock, Joan Cobb Marsh, and Laurence Young.

FREE Historic Bicycle Tour

Times: 9:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Location: Meet in front of City Hall | 3500 Pan-American Drive
This weekend, explore the West Grove Neighborhood, home of resourceful Bahamian farmers and southern African-Americans who arrived to build the Magic City of Miami. As we ride, behold a tight-knit community with a truly dynamic history, distinctive architecture and quaint churches. See the McFarlane Homestead District, now part of Coral Gables, with prime examples of Shotgunand Southern Vernacular homes, built for construction workers in the 1920s. View the final resting place of many prominent Grovites at Charlotte Jane Memorial Park Cemetery. Near the end of our tour, we'll check out the delectables at the Coconut Grove Organic Market.
