Filling the 'Advice Gap'

       
 
'The lack of affordable and accessible money advice is to come under scrutiny in a new Government review of the finance industry.', according to a recent article by Tanya Jefferies for This is Money. The review will investigate the so-called 'advice gap', which leaves people with modest means out in the cold.

As many advisers now charge upfront for their services so more people shun financial advice on the grounds that it is poor value for money, with some turning instead to online DIY investment platforms

The Government review will consider all types of financial products - including savings, mortgages, insurance and pensions. It will report ahead of the Budget in 2016.

NEWS ALERT: Beware Investment Cold Calls
       

The City of London police are investigating investment scammers operating from prestigious London offices. These fraudsters target those who have taken lump sums from their pensions and aggressively demand large amounts for 'investments' ranging from diamonds to antiques and other tangible assets.


 

Always be vigilant and only deal with trusted investment organisations.
