Message From Richard

Greetings my brothers and sisters and welcome to our latest edition of Gods Faith Book's weekly newsletter.

Some really exciting news. GFB's new Christian Dating Site which was officially launched last week is a huge success. We have already attracted over 25,000 new members to join These members all joined over a 7 day period with many joining in last 3 days. because of the huge unexpected volume, we have over loaded our server and are now in process of adding more storage space. This has created a problem in posting pictures of members along with their profiles. Profiles are posted and are accurate, however many of the new profiles do not show a photo. This will be corrected over the next few days as soon as more disk space is added to server. Most of these new members are not members of GFB, so this will give you a great opportunity to meet new individuals. If you are single and looking for that special person, just click on and discover new friends with similar interests.

If you haven't taken a look at our gift store, located at top of home page in black menu bar, please check it out. We have added 9 new book titles for you to check out. These books will make excellent gift for that someone special. In addition to reading these books we have made arrangements with several of the authors to join us here at GFB to discuss their books and answer any questions you might have. Check the front page for further announcements.

Our old poll question has ended and we've added a new question:

How Many Chances We Have to Get Right with God:
Two (this lifetime and in purgatory)
Two (before and after the rapture)
Only One (this lifetime) No Second Chance

Go ahead and post your opinion. Remember, only your vote is shown, not your name.

Since the last newsletter, when I mentioned that response to Bible Cruise was disappointing , responses have picked up and plans are again under way to have cruise. Keep watching for more information.

Below is information posted last week on Bible Cruise, just in case you missed it.
Final plans for the GFB Bible Cruise have been under way for the past three months, but the response from our membership has been disappointing. If we do not receive enough of an interest, we will have to cancel or postpone this exciting Bible Cruise.

This will be a 4 day cruise leaving from Miami, Florida and going to a Caribbean Port. A specific date has not been set, but it will be in the fall. Costs and cruise activities are being finalized. Besides deep discounts for GFB members to join on the cruise, you will also have the opportunity to earn a FREE cabin on the cruise. More details will follow in upcoming newsletters and information that will be posted on GFB home page. This will be an exciting time for all of us and a great opportunity to meet fellow members. I am looking forward to meeting as many of you as I can. So, let's start talking to our fellow members and friends both on and off GFB about planning to join us.

Our Chat room is still be worked on and we must cancel Bible Class for tonight.

Helpful Sponsorship's: As we have said, GFB is growing! (Praise the Lord!) But with increased web traffic, and more active email readers like you being added every day to our list of thousands, our expenses have been growing rapidly as well! We wanted to be completely transparent with you and let you know that to help offset the costs, GFB has invited a select group of sponsors to advertise with us. We're confident these modest ads won't interfere with our mission of inspiring millions to seek the Holy Spirit in their lives and share His fruit with others!

Remember, that this site does not belong to one person, it belongs to all of you. Without YOU, there is no US. Always Dare To Dream.

"Thank You Lord for this day, and for all you have done for us. Lord forgive us our sins, and help us with forgiveness of others. Lord please heal our bodies, minds and hearts, so that we are free and healthy in body, mind and Spirit. Lord may you guide , protect and provide for our family needs. In Jesus name we pray. Amen"

WE ARE IN JESUS HAND SO DON'T WORRY HE IS ALWAYS WITH US.
GOD'S GRACE IS WHAT ENABLES YOU TO BELIEVE IN HIM. SO THANK HIM EACH DAY FOR REVEALING HIMSELF TO YOU!

Do These 3 Things While You Wait For Your Miracle
by Pastor QT Nyathi

Waiting on the Lord for a miracle or breakthrough is not what many people think it is; just staring blankly into the sky expecting God to split the heavens open and come to your rescue. Awaiting the Lord to move on your behalf is not a passive exercise or just ceasing from all activity.

Here are three things you should do while heaven is processing your miracle. Actually this threesome combination also acts as a catalyst that releases your miracle much faster.

Activity #1: Do some word exercises.

God responds to his word not your wails. Doing word exercises like studying, meditating, and confessing scripture will not only strengthen you but it will attract heaven's attention as well.

God always follows his word.

In addition to general study, zero in your focus on your area of need. For example if you need healing study, meditate, and confess healing scriptures.

Activity #2: Join a support group.

A support group is a group of people who support each other in a bid to overcome a problem they all share.

Somebody somewhere is going through what you are going through.

Take this a step further by linking up with people who have overcome what you are facing; they will inspire you to fight on. In the Bible, pregnant Mary visited Elizabeth who was also expecting.

Activity #3: Deepen your walk with God

There is something more important than a miracle; your relationship with Jesus.

While heaven is processing your order, strengthen your relationship with Jesus through deeper worship, prayer, and pursuit.

If you do, you will smile when you ought to be crying and help others when you have greater needs yourself. You'll become a miracle as you wait for your miracle.

In conclusion there are two ways God delivers us. In most cases, He delivers us from stuff, but in a few instances He delivers us through stuff. When He delivers us from stuff, He removes the problem, when He delivers us through stuff He sustains us in the problem. Either way it's still a miracle if you ask me.

Weekly Devotional...
Overlooking an Offense by Wendy Blight

"A man's wisdom gives him patience; it is to his glory to overlook an offense." Proverbs 19:11 (NIV 1984)

What did she mean by that? Why does she always hurt my feelings? Why does she treat me that way? I didn't realize these words played through my head on a continual basis until my daughter pointed it out.

She ended many of our conversations with, "Why do you get your feelings hurt so easily?" Or, "Mom, you're so sensitive."

At first, her words angered me. But over time, I began to hear what she was saying.

For years, I allowed people's words to hurt my feelings. In turn, I harbored anger for those words. The anger took root. Satan fed the words to me over and over again. I re-played them in my mind. Each time the anger grew deeper roots.

Listening to a sermon in church, I would think, "I wish ______ was here. She really needs to hear this!" Of course, the sermon by-passed my heart all together.

Without realizing it, the words of others consumed my thoughts and focus and stole my time. About this time, God called me to teach a Bible study on the book of Proverbs. I spent days and weeks absorbed in this amazing book of wisdom.

One afternoon, this verse leapt off the page and into my heart, "A man's wisdom gives him patience; it is to his glory to overlook an offense" (Proverbs 19:11). I had a choice. Up until then, I heard people's words, jumped to a conclusion and chose to be offended.

But through His Word, God gently corrected me. I sensed Him saying that I can choose to look past people's words and not receive them with an offended heart. I discovered that I needed to LISTEN objectively and ask: What is driving their words? Do they have a valid point? Do they have a deep hurt? Or do they need something I am not giving?

The responsibility was on me to stop the words from taking root in my heart. When I accepted this, my attitude changed. Yes, it took time, and I am a work in progress. But now when someone speaks a hurtful word, I check it before letting it take residence in my mind. I hear the words, recognize my issue, and speak Truth over my heart. I literally say, "It is to my glory to not receive this as an offense."

Everyone wins because I don't ruin the rest of the day by pouting, making it all about me, or soaking in self-pity. Each time I make this choice, I sense God is pleased as I honor Him by choosing NOT to be offended.

Heavenly Father, thank You that I am created in Your image. Thank You that I find my identity in You. Thank You that it is only Your Word and Your opinion that matter. Lord, give me Your ears to hear. Help me not to be easily offended and easily angered. Help me lay down any offenses to which I am currently holding. Let me live in the freedom of Your love and forgiveness. Help me live not in my flesh, but supernaturally in the fullness and freshness of Your Spirit. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
