Message From Richard

Greetings my brothers and sisters and welcome to our latest edition of Gods Faith Book's weekly newsletter.

Here in the United States, we're grieving with our brothers and sisters in the Oklahoma City region, which was hit on Monday by a massive tornado system with winds exceeding 200 miles per hour, killing at least 24 people and leaving thousands homeless. Please join me in prayer for everyone affected.

"As for me, I will always have hope; I will praise you more and more. Though you have made me see troubles, many and bitter, you will restore my life again." AMEN.

Please join with us here at GFB and make a purchase from our gift store during the next 30 days. 25% of all profits will be donated to relief funds for Oklahoma.

I want to take a moment to once again thank you all for your prayers and best wishes for my Mother, these past two weeks. My mother passed away on Monday May 13. She passed away at home with family and friends at her side. Mother dear, Rest In Peace. You will always be remembered and loved by all who knew you.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.  Psalm 23:4

Name Your Seed? By : Curt Klingerman

1Corinthians 15:37-38 And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain: But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body (KJV).

While this passage of Scripture pertains to what type of bodies we will have at the resurrection, there is an important principle given in these two verses. It is God Who determines the result of what is sown, not us. It is according to what pleases Him; not what pleases man. There is a teaching that says we can name our seed when we "sow a financial gift." For one thing, if it is truly a gift, there should be no strings attached to it. Secondly, it loses sight of the purpose for giving and receiving. Truthfully, in some circles, this teaching is used to manipulate an offering. In a number of cases it appeals to selfish desires and has nothing to do with the will of God; although, God has been blamed for this teaching (i.e., "God showed me this principle"). Are they saying we can buy the blessings of God? Does it mean that it is Jesus plus a donation that will get our prayers answered? Do we really need to pay someone who is on TV to pray for us in order for God to move in our lives? Whatever happened to praying according to the will of the Father in the Name of Jesus? Are they saying our brothers and sisters who live near us are not good enough to pray for us? Maybe we need to pay them to pray for us too.

Our aim should be to study to see if something is so; it is not to prove something true or not. If we try to prove a point, we may miss God's point. If we try to disprove a principle, we are studying to disbelieve. In all that we do, we need God's council. Therefore, study what is being presented here to see if the principles laid out conform to the Word of God. The bottom line, we should always seek the Truth in the way God intended it, regardless of what we think we know.

Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap (KJV). In simple terms, we will reap what we sow. Therefore, God will determine what type of fruit the seed we plant produces. For example, if we were to plant orange seeds, we would not expect to get apple trees. We cannot pay for mercy; we must extend mercy to receive it (see Matthew 5:7). Money should only be involved if it is an act of mercy given out of love. That is to say, if we see someone in need, as an act of love and mercy, we may financially bless him. We are not giving unto him with the idea of getting something in return. We do not give in order to get. However, God will financial bless those who give, but in a variety of ways. Sometimes, He may give someone a promotion at his job, or perhaps a significant raise. He may cause our money to stretch further than it normally would go. To some, He will give creative ideas to start a business, or cause an existing one to grow. Vehicles and appliances last longer than they otherwise would, and so on. In all, He will bless as He sees fit. The question is: why?

1Corinthians 9:8-13 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever. Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;). Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God. For the administration of this service not only supplieth the want of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God; Whiles by the experiment of this ministration they glorify God for your professed subjection unto the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal distribution unto them, and unto all men (KJV).

One reason is so we may abound in every good work. Essentially, He blesses us so we may be a blessing in His Kingdom. While He does love to bless us, He also desires us to be like Him. God is constantly blessing people, and we too, should be doing the same. Therefore, He will supply us with what we need to bless to others. Secondly, it causes people to be thankful to God through our generosity, which ultimately glorifies Him. Something to keep in mind is that it is about Him!
Awakening
Group Profile - Awakening/Restoration Ministries/Military/Flock of the Heavens

Shalom everyone! The time for restoration is here, where we all come together and return to the roots/way the truth and the life as proclaimed in scripture and by YHVH/Yahoshua himself. This is where we come together as a militant force against the forces of darkness/wickedness involving the fallen principalities and powers, and all who are vile/against life itself. Which entails prayer and Spiritual Warfare. This is where everyone get's dialed up in the spirit and on fire for God involving the Holy Spirit; but don't get me wrong, there are other places too, where people are on fire for God etc., and anyone could become on fire for God anywhere at anytime, but we simply have scripture work it's majesty here, and it works wonders as expected.

Also, this is the place where we know the Torah Diet involving health and wellness and eating correctly as proclaimed to us in scripture. This is where the Hebrew roots of the faith is proclaimed and loved. This is where denominationalism has it's end, or people forget about it/them overtime or immediately, the message works either way lolz. Where we unite under the truth God gave us and break down the walls/barriers which weaken us as a whole "Bride/Flock." For we are simply followers of the way the truth and the life, not any man-made religious institution where we assign a label/filth involving not focusing on the complete truth given to us by God himself.

This is where we walk what we preach and read in scripture, walking and doing that of the way the truth and the life itself; where we are as/strive to be as the Messiah himself, even though YHVH/Yahweh/Yahoshua is always fully God/Man and the High Priest for and of all Eternity, who is God before, now, and forever. This is where soul winning commences, and where restoration truly occurs. Shalom, come and see, and let's unite for/follow, hear, and obey the almighty Elohim Yahweh/YHVH/YHWH/YAHUWHA/Yahoshua Hamashiach who is YHVH in the flesh, and who is the God of all creation/life, and who is life/love itself!
Weekly Prayer - Prayer of Hope in God

It's our prayer of hope in God that our God will be with us always, in times of joy, and in times of trouble. And we know that even in our deepest, darkest times, Our Lord is with us. He stands with us, and when we need it, He carries us along.

And with this confidence in Our Lord, we pray:

"And now, Lord, what is my hope? Truly, my hope is even in Thee. Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, yet I will fear no evil. Lord, Thou knowest whereof we be made; Thou rememberest that we are but dust. I am Thine, Oh, save me! Behold, O Lord, how that I am Thy servant, and the son of Thine handmaid. Thine unprofitable servant; yet Thy servant. Thy lost prodigal child, yet Thy child. Into Thy hands I commend myself as unto a faithful Creator. Lord, I am created in Thine own image. Suffer not Thine own image to be utterly defaced, but renew it again in righteousness and true holiness. Into Thine hands I commend myself, for Thou hast redeemed me, Thou God of Truth. Amen.
Lancelot Andrewes (1555-1626)"

Dear Lord, thank you for hearing my prayer placing my life in Your hands. I know that it is in You that I can trust and that I can hope. Even when I fall, You are there to pick me up and help me walk again. You are the Lord who makes the blind see, the deaf hear and the lame walk.

Heal me, O Lord, as You have healed Your children in generations past, and be with me always.

Putting Prayer into Practice: Prayer of Hope in God

What can we do to put this prayer into practice? How can we grow in hope of our Lord?

Do you remember a time in your life when all seemed lost? When you thought there was no hope, no way out, nowhere to turn? And then what you hoped for came to pass, or what you feared didn't materialize? Recall that time, and recall it in detail. Realize that Our Lord was with You in each step of that struggle. Thank Him for His presence with you then, and tell Him of your confidence that He is with you now.
Have you seen Our Lord's working in the life of a friend or family member? Recall in detail when someone you loved was enduring a great trial or difficulty, and perhaps you worried for your loved one. And then you saw how Our Lord saw your loved one through the difficulty. Thank Him for what He did in the life of your loved one. Promise Him that today You will be a ray of His hope to one of His children.
Throughout today, turn to Him in a prayer of hope and thanksgiving. This may be as simple as a statement, "Jesus, my hope is in You."
