Message From Richard

Greetings my brothers and sisters and welcome to our latest edition of Gods Faith Book's weekly newsletter.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. Psalm 23:4

I want to once again thank everybody for their prayers for my mother who is suffering from a terminal illness and is at home with family and Hospice. Your prayers are appreciated. I want to also ask everybody to take a moment and pray for our sister MaryD who has left her earthly pains and is now under the care of our Father and has returned to the Kingdom while leaving her pain back here on earth.

On a more happy thought, let us all pray and give thanks for the healthy delivery of a new baby girl to the daughter of our dear Sister Faith. AMEN.

We all like easy answers. Yet the Bible tells us that "It is the glory of God to conceal things" (Proverbs 25:2). That may appear to be a cruel portrayal of God, who is lauded for stealthily hiding important matters from his creatures. But think for a moment about how loving parents routinely and strategically choose to refrain from simply handing over the answers to their children's homework questions. Parents and teachers alike intuitively recognize that there is virtue and lasting benefit bound up in the process of learning, not just in possessing the right answers. Of course God could have constructed a universe in which the answers to everything were easy to come by. But he didn't. The world he made for us requires that we search for wisdom and understanding "as for hidden treasures" (Proverbs 2:4). As hard as that often is, the Bible extols the process as a godly and noble task. God praises us for continuing to ask, seek, knock, study and labor to arrive at prudent and judicious answers and insights. Life will always require it. Godliness will perpetually demand it. So remember that yes, "It is the glory of God to conceal things" (Proverbs 25:2) but it is also "the glory of kings to search things out" (Proverbs 25:2).

"Thank You Lord for this day, and for all you have done for us. Lord forgive us our sins, and help us with forgiveness of others. Lord please heal our bodies, minds and hearts, so that we are free and healthy in body, mind and Spirit. Lord may you guide , protect and provide for our family needs. In Jesus name we pray. Amen"

WE ARE IN JESUS HAND SO DON'T WORRY HE IS ALWAYS WITH US.

Waiting on God By Susan Ferguson

Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him..." (Psalm 37:7 KJV)

Isn't it ironic how time passes so quickly, yet waiting for God to answer your prayers seems like an eternity? Most of you have something you are praying about and for which you are eagerly awaiting God's answer. You may find your faith and patience put to the test when time passes and your requests remained unanswered. It is easy to identify with the prophet, Habakkuk, who grew weary in waiting for God to answer his prayer:

"How long, LORD, must I call for help, but you do not listen?" (Habakkuk 1:2 NIV)

God hears every prayer you pray. He answers your petitions according to His sovereign will and timing. Though you may not understand all of His ways, you need to remember that He has your best interests in mind. You are His child, and He wants to bless you. He alone knows what is absolutely best for your life and your future. When you accept these truths, you know that God's answer to your prayers is well worth the wait.

When your prayers are delayed, it is easy to fret and lose your peace of mind. Delays are only temporary and can change suddenly in your favor. Rather than boggle your mind, trust in the living God from whom all blessings flow. God is well able to meet your needs and bring your prayers to pass.

All believers face times of waiting, so you might as well accept the wait and enjoy life's journey. When you surrender to God's timing, He can work on your behalf without hindrances. Your waiting is put to good use as God increases your endurance and brings you to a new level of strength and confidence in Him.

If you have grown weary in your wait, know that Jesus cares for you and will help shoulder your burdens. He will provide the strength you need to continue your journey. His grace and strength flow freely and cannot be depleted.

Father, help strengthen those who have grown weary in their wait. Restore to them the joy of their salvation. Help meet the needs of all who read this and help them live joyfully as their prayers are answered in your time. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.

Weekly Prayer

Almighty God, unto whom all hearts are open, all desires known, and from whom no secrets are hid; cleanse the thoughts of our hearts by the inspiration of Thy Holy Spirit, that we may perfectly love Thee, and worthily magnify Thy holy Name, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
