Greetings my brothers and sisters and welcome to our latest edition of Gods Faith Book's weekly newsletter.

I just received a message that someone has left the network due to being spammed, however I do not know who is doing the spamming. Please contact me if you receive any type of request for money or support request for a ministry as this is against our rules and the member doing this may be removed. If you have been making friends only so you can ask for support and your profile gets deleted please don't be surprised.

We've recently made a change to our quick link section located at the top of home page on the black menu bar. When you place your cursor over the quick link section you will now see a drop down box listing our various activities.

Many questions have come across my desk asking about our point system, especially from many of our newer members. The point system was set up to reward members for their activities on GFB. Every time a member comes on to the site and posts a comment or posts a new video or posts their photo in their profile they receive points. Points are also given out every time a new friendship is made. Almost anything that members do are awarded with points. These points are tracked and posted on your profile page. FREE gifts are mailed out to members when they reach various point levels starting with 100 points. When you reach the 100, 250, 500 or 1,000 point levels you must notify the admin section at: mornstar100@aol.com with your full name and mailing address and your gift will be mailed to you.

Our Christian Dating site which we have been discussing over the last several weeks has run into some technical problems which should be fixed over the next several days, at which time we will go live. In the meantime we are looking for a name for our dating site. All suggestions are welcome and we will be awarding a special gift to the members that gives us the winning name.

Don't forget, Easter is just around the corner. Pick out that special gift from our gift store located at the top of the home page on the black menu bar. And remember as an added incentive we are now going to be giving away any third product you choice when you purchase two or more products from the GFB gift store over the next 30 days. Escape From Peril by Michael Hume

"We were under great pressure, far beyond our ability to endure, so that we despaired of life. Indeed in our hearts we felt the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God who raises the dead. He has delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us. On him we set our hope that he will continue to deliver us." 2 Corinthians 1: 8-10.

Paul felt totally crushed beyond his ability. He also felt death threats. This was not a pleasant time for him.

If you are going through such a strained time, then take heart. Others have also gone through extreme pressure, threats of death even.

Paul writes wisely that these severe trials come so that we rely on God, and he will deliver us from such trials. If these are long trials, he will give lots of small deliveriances. So we have peace and strength now and again.

There are lots of times in the Bible people have experienced severe trials and God brought them safely out. Here are some.

The Israelites coming out of Egypt had the sea on one side and the Egyptian army on the other. Only a miracle from God would save them and God provided it by parting the sea. They made good their escape.

Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, Daniel's three friends were thrown into a blazing furnace, yet were unharmed. God sent an angel to save them, and they stepped out of the fire, in good shape.

Daniel spent one night in a den of lions. God sent his angel to keep him safe.

Jonah spent three days and nights in the belly of a large fish. Then the fish vomited him out on dry land.

Jesus escaped a crowd in Nazareth intent on throwing him over a cliff to his death. Yet he walked right through the middle of them, and they could not touch him.

Nothing is impossible with God. He will provide you with the peace and support you need until you are safely out of your very bad trial.

Weekly Prayer

Dear Lord Jesus, thanks and praise be to You that Your Word has power to break through all of the barriers to repentance and faith that exist in our hearts and minds - many of which are "religious," so that by Your grace we too have come to know and believe Your great love for us, and have been incorporated into the obedience of faith. Grant that Your kingdom continue to come to us, and within our congregations. Preserve all of Your priests, even Your pastors, in this repentance and faith. Amen.

Bible Study Classes and Prayer Meeting

Bible Study is held in the AV Chat Room each Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Each Saturday we also have a Video prayer and worship session. Classes begin promptly at 8:00 PM EST except for the Tuesday class which begins at 3:00 PM E.S.T.

The GFB Prayer Meeting is held each Wednesday at approximately 9:00 PM EST in the AV Chat room.
