Greetings my brothers and sisters and welcome to our latest edition of Gods Faith Book's weekly newsletter.

First, let me take a moment to congratulate Caroline, our Holy Land sweepstakes winner. Also, please hold on to all your points. These can still be used for future gifts as well as our new sweepstakes which will be announced in our next newsletter.

Our Poll question which is located in the Quick Links section on the black menu on the top of home page is: As A Christian, Do You Feel The Need To Follow All Of The Old Testament Commandments? This question will be running only one more day. So if you haven't voted, please vote and tell us your opinion. New questions are posted on the 15th and 30th of each month.

Christmas countdown starts now. 26 --That's the number of days left before Christmas. If you haven't had the chance to view our Gift Store, now's the time to do it. . Before ending this letter, I have a request to make of all our members regarding Charles Gentry one of our dear and Blessed Bible instructors. Sharon, Charles wife is now undergoing treatment for cancer and needs our prayers. Please stand with me in the Blood of Christ and prayer for her survival and comfort. God Bless Charles and his loving family. AMEN.

Why am I thankful,

let me count the ways

and the first one is because

I trust Jesus with all my days.

I am thankful for His love,

for forgiving me my sin

I am thankful for the Holy Spirit

who dwells and lives within.

I am thankful for His mercy,

His endless supply of grace

I am thankful that He knows

the contour of my face.

I am thankful for His truths,

that keep me on the narrow path

I am thankful that I will not know

the full measure of His wrath.

I am thankful for His peace,

the calm that surrounds me

I am thankful for His hope

that once blinded eyes can see.

Why am I thankful,

I cannot count all the ways

but for these and so many more

I give Him all my praise.

I am Janet from Kentucky.

I am 58 years old. I ask the Lord into my life in my youth . My dad died when I was 10 ½ months old. Mom raised me, my sister and brother ( my brother died at age 7 ).

God replaced a daddy for me and gave me the kindest man in the world for a stepfather.

I have 2 Wonderful Christian adult children, boy/ girl, and 2 grandchildren boy/girl.

I was a substitute teacher for a Christian School.

I use to sing in a quartet , we traveled a lot, & heard a lot of wonderful preaching.

I received "Outstanding young women of America " award in 1981, for all the activities I did in church, pianist, teacher, VBS teacher&crafts, Church bus driver ,Church bulletin creator ...etc

I was ask to write for a Christian magazine years ago (long story missed out on it) .

Eventually I want to write about the battles I have been through and how the Lord has helped me through them . He showed me to praise the Lord when Satan attacks and I have Literally praised him for hours and the calm that comes over me is amazing. The Lord showed me a lot when I play the Bible on cd all night , I feel like I have slept for years.

Every Christian should do this every night its unreal how you will feel from this. One time when I woke up I saw a vision of my mom on the wall and she looked around 30 years old. (and she is 84),I felt the Lord was sending me a message this is the age we will be in Heaven. His word is powerful. Listening to it all day & night can bring about amazing things.

Weekly Prayer

Dear Lord Jesus Christ, help us to fully grasp and understand the glory of Your great love for us, that having been put to death by Law we might cling only to the gift of life which You have given to us in Your suffering and death on the cross, and in Your glorious resurrection. Fill us with this hope, and make us very bold in Your gracious love - that we may be transformed into Your glorious image. Amen.

Bible Study Classes and Prayer Meeting

Bible Study is held in the AV Chat Room each Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Each Saturday we also have a Video prayer and worship session. Classes begin promptly at 8:00 PM EST except for the Tuesday class which begins at 3:00 PM E.S.T.

The GFB Prayer Meeting is held each Wednesday at approximately 9:00 PM EST in the AV Chat room.
