Greetings my brothers and sisters and welcome to our latest edition of Gods Faith Book's weekly newsletter.

Before starting this letter, I have a request to make of all our members regarding Charles Gentry one of our dear and Blessed Bible instructors. Sharon, Charles wife is now undergoing treatment for cancer and needs our prayers. Please stand with me in the Blood of Christ and prayer for her survival and comfort. God Bless Charles and his loving family. AMEN.

Christmas countdown starts now. FORTY --That's the number of days left before Christmas. It's never too early to start thinking about getting that special gift for loved ones or that special person in your life. Our Bible Class's are still growing with new members each week. We have a Bible Class every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in the Chat Room. In addition we have a prayer session every Wednesday night at the conclusion of Bible Class. We hold a Praise and Worship Video session every Saturday night stating at 8 PM and runs as long as videos are played--this can run up to three hours, so bring plenty of coffee. Tonight's Bible class led by our sister faith starts at 8PM in the chat room.

Bad Habits Are the Bars that Imprison One's Future by Kelvin Gilmore

Like a jail, bad habits keeps us from the freedoms that we can enjoy.

We at times over emphasize trivial things and treat important things like a toy.

Many people are trap in day to day activities without thinking of the long-term effects.

They blindly follow a path that is not proven but has many defects.

We should always ask ourselves are our daily actions constructive or destructive?

We should focus all of our efforts on activities that are productive.

Let us review our goals and examine if our habits are taking us where we want to be.

Let us make necessary changes to not be imprisoned by bad habits but to be set free.

Member Profile - Jason Redeemed

My name is Jason Roberts, a preacher's son, raised up in church in a musical family, saved at a young age, and quite a good kid until my teens when I decided to rebel, using music to make friends. In my early twenties I stopped listening to heavy metal and turned my attention to rockabilly, country (taking me back to some of those gospel roots), and acoustic blues, but I continued to rebel. My rebellion lasted for many years, but after the experience of losing my father, I have done a lot of soul searching for what's been barely over a year now. I have rededicated my life to the Lord, studying His Word daily, praying constantly, and trying to be Christ-like and to have God's Will be manifest in my life.

The struggle of sin is still there, because I'm human, but by plugging into God and staying firm in Jesus Christ who saved me, I find myself empowered over sin. So if in doubt, start talking to God sincerely and He will sincerely guide you.

I'm so thankful I learned to play country and some blues because I have incorporated it in my gospel music. I have recorded gospel music and am trying to stay focused on praising God through music. I don't waste my talents God gave me on drunken ears any more. Through the music I am able to reach others and make them think about God and hopefully, uplift Christian souls, or if the people haven't already, turn their hearts around and find the only salvation which is in Jesus Christ. I'm hoping to have more family gospel recorded this summer, Lord willing, so that's exciting. My final word; if you backslide and fall, get back up, because God will take you back and even to new places you hadn't dreamed of before.-Jason Roberts

Weekly Prayer

Dear Lord Jesus, help us to better understand the deepest and most powerfully determinative aspects of human life and being. Cure our naiveté, and make us more devoted to You. Grant that all people may know You, the greatness of Your love and the goodness of Your ways. We pray this first for ourselves, and also for our fellow citizens. Lord, have mercy! Amen.

Bible Study Classes and Prayer Meeting

Bible Study is held in the AV Chat Room each Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Each Saturday we also have a Video prayer and worship session. Classes begin promptly at 8:00 PM EST except for the Tuesday class which begins at 3:00 PM E.S.T.

The GFB Prayer Meeting is held each Wednesday at approximately 9:00 PM EST in the AV Chat room.
