 On Friday, June 10, 2016 from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM, all registered members of the Hawk Mountain Council are invited to FirstEnergy Stadium to continue the tradition of "Scout Night" at the ballpark and to enjoy America's favorite pastime with family and friends. Trainer's EDGE
|
Saturday, June 11, 2016 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM - The purpose of the Trainer's EDGE course is to provide and help develop the platform skills of a trainer. This course is intended to "train the trainer" on behaviors and resources while offering hands-on experience in methods and media. You will have the opportunity to be in front of the group. The group will offer feedback that will help you improve your skills as a trainer. Feedback is a gift. We want to make sure it is given in a positive, helpful way. Click here to register.

National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) 2016

 National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) is an exciting, action-packed program designed to provide youth members with leadership skills and experience they can use in their home troops and crews, and in other situations demanding leadership of self and others. Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills and Boy Scout Leader Training
|
Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS) will be offered in June, August and October 2016 at Hawk Mountain Scout Reservation.
This course is designed to meet the needs of Scoutmasters; Assistant Scoutmasters, interested Troop Committee Members, new adults from Webelos dens and Commissioners by helping you master basic camp skills required for Tenderfoot to First Class. Boy Scout Leader Specific Training (BSLST) focuses on troop operations and is part of becoming "Trained" for Boy Scout Leaders. This training will be offered Sunday afternoon immediately following IOLS. If you choose to take both courses, you can be fully trained in one weekend!
