Internet Advancement - Is your unit a part of it?
Reporting advancement is a requirement of the Boy Scouts of America, and entering those achievements directly into the BSA system is the most straight-forward way to get it done!

There are benefits to using this method of recording advancements.
  • The internet processing system is the most direct method of reporting achievements.
  • It eliminates issues with deciphering handwriting.
  • It consolidates data in order to reduce or eliminate record gaps when a Scout transfers from one unit to another within the Council.
  • It assures that your unit's advancement is counted in the Journey to Excellence.
  • It allows you to verify youth registration in your unit.
  • It aids in the verification of an Eagle Scout Rank application.
All you need to do is assign an advancement processor for your unit and obtain your unit's ID number.

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT YOUR INTERNET ADVANCEMENT REPORT MUST COME INTO OUR OFFICE.  ONE COPY IS MAINTAINED IN YOUR UNIT FILE AND ONE COPY IS DISTRIBUTED TO YOUR DISTRICT ADVANCEMENT CHAIRPERSON.

Additional information can be obtained by calling the Beaver Family Service Center at 610-926-3406 or by emailing Sue Settle at sue.settle@scouting.org.
