This year, Hawk Mountain Council is offering an expanded program for Hawk Mountain Council Cub Scout Adventure Day and adding Cub Scout Overnighter Adventure Weekend. Cub Scouts and their adult partners/families have the choice of either participating in Cub Scout Adventure Day which is the traditional one-day program which begins at 9:00 AM each Saturday or they may participate in the Cub Scout Overnighter Adventure Weekend which begins the evening prior.

Cub Scout Adventure Day begins at 9:00 AM, Saturday morning, and ends approximately 4:00 PM. The cost for adventure day includes lunch.

Cub Scout Overnighter Adventure Weekend begins Friday evening at 6:30 PM with check in at the Hofmann Administration Building and ends Saturday at the same time along with Adventure Day. The Overnighter Adventure Weekend includes a campfire program (if enough of participants), a cracker barrel (snacks after campfire in Willits Dining Hall), breakfast (7:30 AM, Willits Dining Hall), as well as lunch. For the Overnighter Adventure Weekend, Cub Scouts and their adult partners/families are required to provide their own tents, sleeping gear, and personal items. Upon arrival, groups will be assigned camp sites.

Volunteers needed for Cub Scout Adventure Days 2015
The 2015 Cub Scout Adventure Days are fast approaching. This year, the dates are October 17 and October 24. The Reservation is host to hundreds both days and volunteers are needed to deliver the promise of Scouting. These two days are filled with fun and excitement and provide those Cub Scouts who may have recently joined to the seasoned Cub Scout with activities to be enjoyed in the outdoors including archery, BB gun, and crafts. Volunteers, both Adult and Boy Scout, have the opportunity to introduce many new Scouts to the program while enjoying fellowship and camaraderie. If you are interested in volunteering for this great event, feel free to contact Leanne at lgranus@comcast.net. See you there!
