Leadership Training
Introduction to Outdoor Leadership Skills (IOLS) is designed to meet the needs of Scoutmasters; Assistant Scoutmasters, interested Troop Committee Members, new adults from Webelos dens and Commissioners by helping you master basic camp skills required for Tenderfoot to First Class.

Boy Scout Leader Specific Training (BSLST) will be offered Sunday afternoon immediately following IOLS. If you choose to take both courses, you can be fully trained in one weekend! Register here for IOLS.  If interested in BSLST please register here.

Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation (BALOO) training is a supplemental training for Cub Scout leaders. However, an adult member of the Pack-parent or leader-will need to take BALOO training to assist the pack in conducting any camping experiences. The overall goal of BALOO is to provide the leaders with the skills and confidence necessary to venture into the great outdoors with their Cub Scouts and provide them with a great first-time experience. If interested in this training please register here.

Commissioner Basic Training will be offered October 18, 2015 at the Hawk Mountain Scout Reservation. The commissioner is the liaison between the local council and Scouting units. The commissioner's mission is to keep units operating at maximum efficiency, maintain regular contact with unit leaders, coach leaders on where to find assistance, note weaknesses in programs, and suggest remedies. Please register here.
National Youth Leadership Training
Leadership is a key factor in the development of a Boy Scout/Venturer. One of the most valuable things Scouting offers is the opportunity to be a leader and to develop his or her leadership skills. The National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) course provides an exceptional opportunity for the youth to do just that.
