Misleading Media

I didn't come right out and say you are lied to for profit, but in many cases it could and likely should be viewed that way.  The most predominant topics promoted as health builders that truly are health busters are:
1) Replace sugar with artificial sweeteners

Top 3 Picks for Natural Sugar Substitutes

Sugar comes from Cane Sugar or Sugar Beets.  Naturally occurring in nature in the form of sucrose, its purpose is reserved energy for the plant in which it is growing.  This carbohydrate is then highly refined and concentrated to be introduced into our foods.  Once in the body,  it is converted to glucose (we can't use sucrose) and insulin is required to aid in its metabolism.  That is the root of the problem with too much sugar.  Lots of sugar in the diet requires the body to produce lots of insulin to manage it.

Excess insulin leads to a multitude of symptoms from heart disease to obesity.  So what are the best alternatives to add some sweet to your world? Read More

What needs to go and which fats cause the problems?
