Specially designed for engineering undergraduates, Let's Talk provides easy access to confidential support & consultation with Dr. Fengqin Lian, CAPS Psychologist. Dr. Lian meets individually with students on a first-come, first-served basis. This is a safe space where you could discuss whatever is bothering you (e.g. concerns about academic performance, stress, relationships, culture shock, adjustment to grad school, & more). NACME $2500 Scholarship

We are looking for under-represented students in engineering to apply for a $2500 scholarship supported by the National Action Council for Minorities in Engineering (NACME). NACME seeks to support UC San Diego undergraduates who fit the following eligibility requirements: 1) Under-represented minorities (African-American/Black, Hispanic/Latino, or Native American/Alaskan). 2) Engineering majors. 3) Full-time students. 4) GPA 2.5 minimum (2.8 preferred). 5)U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident. LGBTQ STEM Safe Zone Level 2 Webinar

The American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) is launching Level 2 of our free LGBTQ Safe Zone Ally Training online workshops. This Level 2 workshop will further discuss LGBTQ issues and explore the topics of heterosexual and cisgender privilege, micro-aggressions, how to disrupt discrimination in the classroom, and more. This general Level 2 online workshop is only the first of a 3-part Level 2 series. Systems Engineer Position

The San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) has a position available for a Systems Engineer. As an integral member of multiple project teams, the Systems Engineer will provide technical expertise in the design and deployment of electrical and communication systems infrastructure to ensure the successful delivery of capital transportation projects of varying sizes and complexity. This position will plan, monitor, and coordinate various activities to ensure delivery of quality systems engineering projects from consultant teams, and work closely with other project managers within the agency.
