Continental African contributions to African development, through Remittances, are more than all foreign aid combined and what African governments depend on from G8 countries. This power has attracted the interest of the World Bank, European Union and attention of our African Union and governments. The result is the creation of the African Institute for Remittances (AIR) scheduled to go into operations in 2015.

The missing point: The producers of the billions and recipients are uninformed on how the World Bank, the European Union and African Union and governments came to decisions without engaging the producers of the billions. The details of AIR are unknown in the stake-holding community.
