QUAIL HUNTING IN THE SOUTHEAST | |
The Tall Timbers Research Station & Land Conservancy s
This organization studies game bird management (among other things). It has focused its conservation efforts in the "Red Hills Region located between Tallahassee, Florida and Thomasville, Georgia." The organization has provided counsel to Pineland Farm, several thousand acres near the Santee lakes of South Carolina. The Farm has developed four principles to make a"quail hunter's paradise."
