 My Dog Just Ate What?The Good Vet & Pet Guide has a useful article on what to do when your dog has just eaten a whole box of chocolates and other potential disasters.
New Drug for Canine Osteoarthritis The U.S. FDA has approved the use of Galliprant to control pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis. This new drug, along with durgs like Deramaxx, Rimadyland previcox must be prescribed by a veterinarian.
A Breakthrough in Bloat The Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center has dived into the subject of bloat, paying particular attention to bloat's relationship to IBD (inflammatory bowel disease). "In both humans and dogs IBD is linked to specific genes of the immune system."
