RETRIEVER RESULTS CANADA - WHAT'S NEW
Retriever Results Canada has been hard at work offering new information on the NRCC website. You can now find up-to-date lists of those qualified for the two Canadian National field trial events.

Of course, once the competitive seasons starts up again, the qualifier lists will be automatically updated each week. If you see any errors, please let us know.

Anatomy of a cooler.
If you don't already have one in your dog truck, you probably want one. 

The founders of Yeti coolers had two goals. The first was to build a cooler that they could "stand on without fear of collapse" as they fished. The second was to give them enough time to hunt and fish.

Hip Dysplasia
Researchers at UC Davis have published a study designed to uncover correlations between early spay or neuter and the rate of some diseases. (Early here is defined before 12 months of age.)

Among the findings:
  • Increased risk of hip dysplasia among early neutered males.
  • Increased risk of mast cell tumors and hemangiosarcoma in dogs neutered after 12 months.

OFA

So you've gotten your results back from the OFA and you'd like them to be evaluated again. Get another set of radiographs and resubmit them. The most recent evaluation is the one that will stand.
