Watch Them Poop Believe it or not, researchers have discovered that dogs can detect the specifics of the earth's magnetic field, aligning themselves on a north-south axis -- tending to face north, while they do their business. You can learn more here.
Detecting Cancer Dogs working as part of trial in England have been found to be 93% accurate at detecting prostate cancer, more reliable than current blood tests. The success of this study has led to additional studies designed to see if dogs can help detect cancers for which there is no current screening method. You can learn more here.
Saying Goodbye No-one likes to think about it, but it's worth thinking through how you'll say goodbye to an ailing pet. Thanks to Lydia Fekula for providing this article. |
