 SOMETHING TO CHEW ON
Did you know that tennis balls can wear down your dog's teeth. Vets report that the same material that keeps tennis balls bouncing on courts can also do a good job abrading a dog's teeth. So if you have a "gnaw-er," best to give him or her something else to chew on.
 TOP SIRES AND DAMS
Did you know that you can use Retriever Results to look up the top performing Field Trial sires and dams? Well you can! And if you want to check out top Hunting Test sires and dams you can do that too. While you're there, check out all the other Rankings available.

Data for Field Trials goes back to 2001 and data for Hunting Tests goes back to mid 2009.
BRUSHING TEETH
Did you know that 80 percent of dogs have dental disease by the age of two?

AKC Canine Health has put together a list of indicators that your pup may have dental disease:
  • fishy-smelling breath
  • a toothache causing your dog to pull away if you touch the mouth
  • loss of appetite
  • bleeding from the gums
  • drooling
  • dropping food while attempting to chew
  • loose or discolored teeth
  • constant licking or pawing at the mouth
