Central NY Field Trial Revived
In 2012, the CNYRC was forced to cancel their traditional Labor Day weekend trial due to financial difficulties and lack of suitable grounds. In 2013 a group of field trialers got together to revive the event on new grounds. Thanks to lots of hard work and equipment loaned by a group of dedicated volunteers the event came off without a hitch. Save the date for 2014! You can read more about it here. |

| Ken Neil and Windy |
Last weekend 12-year-old NFC-AFC Candlewood's Somethingroyal (NFC-AFC Maxx's Surprise ex FC Candlewoods Homely Hannah) reached a new milestone when she qualified for her 14th National. (Windy had already qualified for the 2013 National Open in August.)
The girl has had an enviable track record that includes winning a double header at Snowbird in 2012. Plus 2013 has been a terrific year, earning 15 All-Age points in 2013, bringing her total to 163.
Windy's career also includes being the dam of four litters with (FC-AFC Weezer Retreezer, NAFC-FC Cody Cut a Lean Grade and NFC-AFC Clubmead's Road Warrior), most of whom are following in their parents footsteps. Owners Ken & Brenda Neil plan to retire Windy after the National Championship in November. She's earned it! |
