WELCOME RAMBLIN MAXX! | |
Ramblin Maxx Retrievers is our newest advertiser. RMR's goal to produce pups with strong bloodlines in an positive environment. They do this by breeding National Champion bloodline females to Nationally Competitive Field Champions and using extensive socialization including introduction to birds and water (weather permitting).
Learn more about their next litter (FC-AFC Bayou Teche Eye on the Ball ex RMR Power of Ebonstar and Spice MH) due in late September. |
LEPTO RISK GROWS AFTER HEAVY RAINS | | Did you know that there are more than 100 strains of leptospirosis? When your dog (or cat) receives its lepto shot, the vaccine probably includes the strains most prevalent in your area. This year's heavy rains in much of the country have increased the risk, even for dogs that have been vaccinated.
Dogs (and humans!) can contract the bacteria that cause lepto through the urine of infected animals which can get into water or soil, potentially surviving for months. And lepto is tricky because the symptoms (if any occur) are non specific.

CORRECTIONS & AMPLIFICATIONS | |
We strive to deliver accurate information quickly, but from time to time, we make mistakes. And when we do we update the database, we also update the copy of this newsletter that's on the website and then publish the correct information in the next edition of the newsletter. In addition, many of the Rankings depend largely on the handler and whether that handler is an amateur or a pro.
If you believe a results or handler is listed incorrectly, please let us know!
Last week we included Canadian titles to FC-AFC Candlewoods Commander and Chief when the dog had just earned his US title. |
