Special Issue - Hunt Tests

January 14, 2013
2012 YEAR IN REVIEW

Happy New Year!  We've spent the past few weeks pulling together stats on Field Trials and Hunting Tests for 2012.  We've looked at the number of events and broken them out by region.  We've also looked at the winners by breed and sex.

Comments and questions welcome...enjoy!

EVENTS
For many of us the Hunting Test schedule defines where we go and who we see from one weekend to the next.  We took a look at those events over the past year to provide some insight into what is "typical."

A REGIONAL VIEW
Most Hunt Tests we attend are "local," so we took a shot at dividing the year's HTs into regions.  Using the time zones as a starting point, we then split two of them (Central and Eastern*) to create a more balanced list of regions.

Let us know what you think of this approach.  If you like it, we'll find other ways to apply it.
