Its hard to believe that I am gearing up for fall events at the studio. What an amazingly beautiful NW summer we have had. I am very grateful for the solid teaching team here at the studio that kept classes going during the last two weeks, while I entured off on a summer recharge vacation.

I took the Yoga trailer through beautiful Vancouver Island. Camping or what I call Scamping, as the trailer I have is a Scamp. It was a packed 2 weeks, with finding yoga classes along the way, trying my first gyro tonics class, mountain biking, hiking, kayaking the Broken Islands in Barkley Sound, high ropes course and zip lines, hot springs, evening camp fires and the lovely company of my sweetie. And yes, after all of that I am excited and ready to begin one of the busiest falls ever here at the studio.

Here is a brief lineup of what's to come for the cooler rainy season:

When the body lines up in an optimal way, healing can take place rapidly. Pain - physical or emotional- is an indicator that something is not aligned in the highest way. When we learn to move our body with awareness and in tune with the breath, the energy moves more freely, just as water flows smoothly when a kinked garden hose is unwound. As the body becomes balanced, we experience brighter energy, and renewed health and a vital radiance. Discover new levels of awareness and a deeper sense of well-being from good yoga therapy. We are meant to thrive in our lives, not nearly survive.
