Greetings!
Transitioning into fall i find myself rejoicing in the experiences of this amazing NW summer we just had. At the same time very much looking for the settling inside that the brisk and windy fall season offers us.
We are now fully settled into our new studio space and it immediately brought a feeling of home. The warm colors, open quite space and connected community is a great gift to the busy and intense transitioning of this last year.
I have spent the better part of this year undertaking an advanced training in bodywork called Structural Integration. It has taken me away from the studio a lot. And as it comes to an end this December, i am happy to return my attentions back to the studio and how this work might inform my teaching and direction more. This type of work for me is equal to getting your PhD. in Massage/bodywork. Its a very rigorous and anatomy detailed training. Others may know of this work by its other schools like Rolfing, Hellerwork and Soma therapy. It is beautifully aligned with yoga and looks at the person as a whole to unwind, realign and free the body of old postural patterns that might be contributing to pain, lack of movement/flexibility and ease in the body.
I am excited to be starting this work as it offers a more detailed platform to get to deeper issues in your body.
If any of you are interested in more information please talk with me. The work is done over 12 sessions given every week or every two weeks, slowly progressing through the body.
Sessions generally cost $100-$150 a session. I will be offering a special rate for those who register for the series from now till Feb 1st. 2014 of $85 a session.
Some exciting upcoming offerings in this newsletter you might be interested in:

Wishing you a easeful transition into the fall and joyful looking forward to the season of gratitude.
