Greetings!
We are excited to share that we are going to be moving the Yoga studio. Our new location, starting July 29th, will offer us more room in the yoga space, more rooms for other healing arts practitioners and a bigger space for me to work out of for my Structural Bodywork and Yoga Therapy practice.
Our new location will be 1101 Broadway St #216 Downtown Vancouver. This space in in the Chamber of Commerce building. Upstairs. We are 1 block north of the Library and across the street from the Academy.
We hope that you will stop in and say hi, or take a class, come be apart of the new visions for the studio and this wonderful supportive community.
We will host a celebrations open house party on August 10th from 5-9pm. Complete with a wine tasting and nibbles. Please join us!
There are a lot of fun events in the planning and we are excited to have a space to be able to offer more community connecting events. Please look for these as they will be just around the corner.
In the meantime we have a few summer events you may be interested in.
Some of the June and July workshops got canceled this year due to the transition into the new space. So we are compiling these workshops into a 3 week immersion into yoga. This will be a great way to jump start your practice, use the available summer energy and work on those challenging poses and parts of the body. Please see more information below.
Tish Lilly one of our excellent teachers here at the Center and long time teacher of the movement arts and dance, will be leading a Kids Yoga and Art Camp. Drawing in other education professionals with specialties in various art modalities and using principle drawn from Yoga Calm to teach children calming strategies and social/developmental skills. If you know anyone with kids ages 6 and up this will be top notch program for kids.
And lastly starting this fall we will be starting up our 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training program and 100 hour Yoga Therapy Training program for those already teachers.
The Yoga Teacher training program is another great immersion into yoga, even for those not interested in teaching. It is structured as a personal development program and will teach you lots of techniques to foster good health, mental clarity and peace of mind.
Registration deadline is August 15th. So connect with me soon if you have been considering a Teacher Training program.
We have placed our entire program catalog online so you can download information on the program at YogaRepatterning.com
