Maps & Water Trails
The Kitsap Peninsula VCB just released the Kitsap Peninsula Water Trails Map which shows kayak launch sites for all of Kitsap County. This great map lists practical amenities like parking, restaurants and stores and is already in REI stores to help bring visitors to Kitsap small businesses. NKTA was happy to be a sponsor, so if you've joined NKTA, you helped make this happen.
NKTA's website also has printable trail maps, to make it easy for you to print and take with you. We also have interactive land and water maps on our website so that you can zoom into different areas to explore what trails are there. And, we have links to regional maps outside North Kitsap.
August 4th will be the official opening of Water Trails in North Kitsap, so if you're not arriving by kayak with Paddle Kitsap that weekend, come celebrate with us in Kingston on August 4th.
Stottlemeyer 30/60 Mountain Bike Race

May 19 saw the largest mountain bike race in the state take place on the Port Gamble Trails. Over 385 participants registered to ride in this portion of the NW Epic series, organized by 4th Dimension Racing. Kitsap VCB and NKTA volunteers helped out, and 4th Dimension donated over $2,000 to benefit North Kitsap Trails.
