Negative news re a Microfibers Inc. plant closure in Winston Salem:
AKC Note: Microfibers Inc. is primarily in upholstery fabrics, with flocked fabric a mainstay of its product line. Its web site indicates it is primarily using nylon as its face fiber. The article covers the closure of its Winston Salem plant with the loss of 125 jobs, but also indicates plants in Mississippi and Rhode Island are also closing. Based on the locations listed on their web site it appears that these are all their manufacturing/distribution facilities.
