Verisk Analytics of New Jersey announce they have purchased the PCI Group. PCI will become part of Wood Mackenzie, a Verisk Analytics business, and will provide valuable services to enhance Wood Mackenzie's chemicals capabilities.


AKC Note: Wood Mackenzie is a leading supplier of commercial information for the natural resources sector and the PCI Group expertise will be an excellent complement to the Wood Mackenzie portfolio of services to customers. Wood Mackenzie is an Edinburgh, Scotland based company with extensive presence in global markets. They became part of Verisk Analytics in 2015 in a $2.8 billion acquisition.
 
This news was announced on Friday 20th November, but I was in Europe and was not able to forward the news until being back in my office today. Exciting times for PCI!
