Valdese Weavers announce the acquisition of Dicey Mills of Shelby, NC.

AKC Note: Dicey Mills is an integrated upholstery fabric operation with solution dyed polypropylene; textured, chenille and boucle yarn production; warping, weaving and finishing in their plant in Shelby, NC. According to the announcement the acquisition does not include the Shelby plant and it is not clear how much of the equipment is to be retained by Valdese. According to the Dicey web site their warps are mainly polyester.
