The Georgia press is announcing a new polyester staple plant is to be built in Chatsworth, GA:

AKC Note: The plant is named PolyTech Fibers and will run from recycled feed and is targeted to have a capacity of 80 million lbs within 3 years. The company President is Mr. JY Choi and the announcement refers to the team having "experienced engineers and businessmen with years of production and sales expertise", which seems to imply that there are a number of industry people with the company.
